Do you have a dog that is desperately in need of some good dog training? If this is the case, you should look at all of the options that are available for the different types of problems that your dog is exhibiting. Learning to solve dog potty training problems is easy.. The main rule of thumb is that you have to stick with it. When you are potty training your dog at home you have to keep it consistent. That means that when you are potty training your dog you cant skip steps. You have to keep in mind that a dog thinks a certain way, and it isn’t the same way that you and I think or learn.
The first step to take when trying to solve dog potty traning problems is understanding your dog. If your dog is actually a puppy, keep in mind that they have a limited amount of space in their bladder. Puppies are going to pee and poop on your floor, there is no way around it. Full grown dogs, on the other hand, can hold their waste a bit longer.
The second step when learning to solve dog potty training problems at home is remembering what YOU must do. Lets say, just for example, you work from 8 AM to 5 PM every day, and we will say you wake up at 6AM. When you wake up, take your dog out to do his business. Let your dog come in and eat while you are getting ready. Take your dog out again before you leave for work. Do you understand what I’m getting at? I’ll explain better: Make sure you aren’t leaving a loaded gun (or dog in this case) out in the open ( or locked inside your house). Make sense? Great!
The third step is clean up. Learning to solve dog potty training problems at home is exactly what it sounds like: AT HOME. Of course you are going to come home to a mess every so often. Big deal! That is what a dog does, while it would be nice if they didn’t do that, remember that this is the reason you are reading this article. When you come home after work (or play..whatever it is) take your dog out immediately! While your dog is out, clean up the mess you came home to.
The most important thing to remember is to stick with it. Treat your dog when he does something you want him to do. When he does his business out side, treat and praise him. Give him a good petting. If you want to avoid the unpleasant but necessary task of picking up after your pet in the street, it makes sense to train him to go before you leave home. This is not as difficult as it may seem but requires a fair amount of patience in the early stages.

You should also have a fairly regular routine and will have some idea of when your puppy needs to go.
Try to arrange your first walk to coincide with this time. Go out to the yard as usual, repeating your chosen phrase until your puppy does what is required. Praise enthusiastically when puppy training and then take him out for a walk.
If he does not go to the toilet, take him back inside for a while and try again later.
If you take your dog out for a walk only after he has been to the toilet, he will eventually begin to realize that producing the required deposit results in a walk; this encourages good behavior when puppy training .
Dog Care Tips With How to Start Dog Potty Training
Successful dog training is not just teaching your dog a couple of tricks because how good it will be if your dog knew how to sit and jump but does not have the proper potty training?
Dog potty training is not really hard, as it seems, you just need to create communication between your dog and you. The best dog potty training should include safe confinement, proper training, good timing and encouragement.
Safe confinement:
New dogs that are just starting to learn the basic of potty training should be put in a safe confinement. Safe confinement like crates or cages is recommended for this dog training. Crates or cages can give the dogs the right idea about potty discipline. The size of the crate or cages should not be large, because large sizes will encourage the dog to eliminate on any part of the crates or cage. To be more effective, don’t put any newspaper, box or blankets inside the crates or cage to avoid your dog from chewing it
Proper Training:
One effective way to train them is by using a leash. Since they are coming from crates or cage, they will be playful and distracted when you let them out so it is recommended that you use a leash.
Leash is an effective tool to get back their attention to their potty training. You can use the leash to also make directions where your dogs will eliminate. But remember that you should always supervise your dog when on a leash. Using a leash will be more effective with proper use of words in dog potty training. Words like “outside” or “let’s go pee” will show your dogs that the right place to eliminate is outside the house and not inside the cage or the house. Aside from the word outside or let’s go pee, you can create your own “command name” that will signal to your dog that it is time for eliminating or urinating outside.Whatever the “command name” that you will use, you have to be consistent in using it in training your dog to let your dog get used to it.
Good Timing:
Good timing is also important in dog potty training.
You can reward your dogs to stay outside the crates after they had properly eliminated outside. This practice will let them know that the good behavior of eliminating outside is rewarded properly.
But letting them out of crates should be supervised for you to see if the dogs will still do unnecessary elimination. The right amount of time inside crates or cage depends on month’s age of puppy.
For two months old = two hours of stay in crates without potty break
For three months old = three hours of stay in crates without potty break
For four months old = four hours of stay in crates without potty break
After teaching them the potty break, let them out immediately. Don’t extend the hours of stay in crates or cage.
Praise:
Like in any good behavior, you have to give praises to your dogs when the dog had successfully followed your commands. Praise is very important in dog training, as this will encourage them to be disciplined in their potty training.

In the same way that a child who is abused regularly, your puppy will not obey you because it makes you happy, he will obey you because you terrify him.
This is not a healthy relationship and it can be avoided by simply firmly scolding your puppy verbally as opposed to physically. The result to this technique is a mutual desire to make each other happy.
When you bring a puppy home, you may need to do a puppy version of child proofing your house. Puppies teeth just like babies do, and they will chew on anything they can get their hand on.
This includes your favorite pair of designer shoes. It is important to show your puppy that you are upset about his behavior without scaring him by throwing a hysterical fit. Introduce him to the world of chew toys that are colorful, tasty, and inexpensive.
This way, your shoes are safe, and your puppy can always find something to chew on.
He will enjoy having something that is exclusively his, and you will enjoy wearing your shoes sans holes. Puppy training can be simple and enjoyable if you are prepared for what’s to come before it happens. Your puppy is a lot like you, and he’s not trying to make you angry by biting you or chewing on your things.
He simply doesn’t know any better, and it’s your job to teach him.
